Cheltenham Canoes is part of the Canoe Shops UK group of specialist Canoe & Kayak outlets in the UK & Ireland. Cheltenham Canoes is now in its 2nd year, has established itself and grown into a successful business. The business has a large showroom stocked with a wide range of kayaks, canoes & equipment for recreational paddlers through to experts.

The business now needs an Assistant Manager to further develop the business and maintain good service. The Assistant Manager will work alongside the Manager covering sales, purchasing, customer service, transport, logistics, retail presentation, website maintenance, business accounting and will able to deputise fully for the Manager.

The successful applicant will be numerate, literate, a paddler, enthusiastic and posses inter personal skills needed for successful retail sales management. IT skills in word, excel, dreamweaver are particularly advantageous.

Previous retail experience is not essential, as training will be provided.
Full UK driving License preferred.

Working pattern
5 day week including Saturdays (2 or 3 Saturdays per month)

Remuneration package
Excellent salary, non-contributory pension after 6 months.
