The Dagger Charleston is made as a 14 footer and a 15 footer. The two sizes are not simply "his and hers" they enable the paddler to select a kayak that fits them. A smaller paddler in the Charleston 14 will get the same level of performance as a larger paddler in the 15.
Fitting nicely into our Day Touring range the Charlie's are still great for a quick paddle when your running out of time. There are three or four modern day touring kayaks available and their performance and fit out are all to a high standard. Getting in an out of these top models and finding out which cockpit configuration best fits you is a great help when selecting a day touring kayak. Charleston 14 and 15 are top-flight kayaks with adjustable thighbraces, backstrap and footrest. Two hatches, two bulkheads and an effective drop down skeg. Ideal kayaks for easy paddling, day touring and longer trips. Both sizes of Charleston performed well when we paddled them in testing conditions.
Nylon or neoprene spraydecks are available for the Charleston and it is an easy kayak to car top.
