Kiwi 2 & 3 Information
The Perception Kiwi's are simply the best open cockpit double kayaks available and fit squarely in the Easy Paddling category. So many people want to go canoeing but are sometimes put off by the tipyness of Canadian Canoes and the restriction of closed cockpit kayaks. The Kiwi 2 and 3 solve all the problems in one go. Easy to paddle from a comfortable adjustable seating position with twin bladed paddles. These kayaks are more than stable, they are actually hard to capsize. Easy to get into and easy to get out of, in fact the Kiwi 2 and 3 have no bad habits at all.
The Kiwi 2 and 3 can be paddled solo or tandem and the Kiwi 3 can accommodate an optional child seat. The Kiwi 3 is slightly longer and narrower than the Kiwi 2 and is therefore slightly faster.
Optional extras include rear hatch and bulkhead (Kiwi 3 only) spraydecks and an easy to use rudder system.
