Perception's Whip It and Whiplash kayaks are classic designs suitable for beginners to intermediate and club paddlers
The Whip It is best for paddlers
weighing less than 85 kg, and the Whiplash for 85kg+.
Both models are fun yet forgiving performers for those looking for a kayak with a flat hull and rails.
The Whip It has less rocker making it faster when surfing, but the Whiplash's extra rocker is great on grade 2 & 3 rivers.
New for 2008 is Perception Kayaks Club Range. This range is fitted with Originz pedal footrest, an adjustable seat, end grabs, minicell foam buoyancy and drain plug.
Perception Kayaks Classic range (pictured left) are outfitted as per the Club but with the addition of thigh braces and security bars. If Grade 4 Whitewater and above is what you are looking for then add the bulkhead footrest.
